Keia Jones

Keia Jones is a Ph.D. student pursuing a dual-degree in Rural Sociology and International Agriculture and Development in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education at Penn State. She recently completed dual master’s degrees in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arkansas and an International Master’s of Rural Development (IMRD) from Gent University. Her undergraduate background is in Agricultural Business and Economics from Virginia State University. She looks forward to investigating policy processes that support environmental sustainability goals. Her research interests include building diverse energy infrastructure, improving water availability and quality, enhancing the transparency of consumer good supply chains, and providing justification for and implementation of tailored social welfare programs.
