Stephanie Freeman

Stephanie Freeman is a second-year PhD student pursuing a dual degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management & Human Dimensions of Natural Resources and the Environment. She received her MS in Wildlife Science at Texas Tech University and her BS in Psychology from the University of Georgia. Her research interests fall broadly within the conservation social sciences, with an emphasis on human-wildlife interactions, park and protected area management, visitor use, and environmental communication. As a member of the Protected Areas Research Collaborative (PARC) at Penn State University, her work is both experimental and applied in nature.
