Eliott Foust

Eliott Foust is a North Carolina native. He gained an interest in meteorology when he witnessed the devastation done to his hometown by hurricane Floyd in 1999. Eliott maintained his interest in meteorology and obtain a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and meteorology at NC State University. Following his bachelor’s, he received a master’s degree in atmospheric science from Colorado State University. Eliott then spent years working as an educator and software programmer at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. Eliott is now pursuing a Ph.D. at Penn State University, and his work focuses on modeling urban climates and air quality hazards in cities.
