Michael F. Verderame
Dr Michael F Verderame currently serves as Senior Associate Dean of The Graduate School at Penn State; major responsibilities include oversight of Graduate Enrollment Services, as well as administrative support of the Graduate Council’s Academic Standards and Joint Curricular Committees. Currently scholarly interests include researching better ways to teach responsible conflict of research to graduate students, and competency-based assessment for the training of PhD students.
Prior to joining The Graduate School, Dr Verderame was Professor of Medicine at the Penn State College of Medicine for over 20 years where he conducted basic cancer research frequently collaborating with physician-scientists, and taught basic cancer biology to medical students.
